Price Canyon Recreation Area includes two distinct camping loops: the north loop with group sites and the south loop featuring 12 individual campsites tailored for tent or small vehicle camping. Amenities at each site include picnic tables, fire rings, and nearby vault toilets. The recently impacted bristlecone pine forest adds a distinctive visual element, and the Bristlecone Ridge Trail invites visitors to explore a regenerating landscape filled with summer wildflowers. The area also boasts two bouldering zones for climbing enthusiasts and day-use picnic areas.
Located 15 miles north of Price, Utah, the campground is conveniently close to the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry and Nine Mile Canyon, both within a 30-minute drive. These nearby attractions offer prehistoric and cultural exploration opportunities that complement the natural beauty and outdoor recreation within the campground itself.
