Located less than 10 miles from Rockford and right off I-90, the park spans over 3,000 acres, featuring two lakes—162-acre Pierce Lake and 50-acre Olsen Lake—ideal for fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Over 40 miles of trails offer opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, and equestrian activities, with some paths winding directly through the campground. Wildlife enthusiasts and wildflower lovers will appreciate the park’s diverse habitats, where deer, foxes, and over 100 species of wildflowers are commonly spotted.
