This free, year-round Bureau of Land Management campground features 13 first-come, first-served campsites, complemented by amenities such as shade structures, picnic tables, fire pits with grills, and vault toilets. While there is no potable water or trash collection, the clean and well-maintained facilities make it a comfortable spot for both tent and small RV campers. The rugged canyon walls and sawtooth-shaped ridgelines create an inspiring backdrop, ideal for climbers, hikers, and wildlife enthusiasts. Nearby trails and over 350 sport climbing routes, ranging in difficulty, ensure adventure for all skill levels.
Set in a quiet corner of the Mojave Desert, Sawtooth Canyon’s location provides easy access to the Predator Wall Trail and other hiking routes. Nearby, the Stoddard Valley OHV Recreation Area offers more opportunities for exploration within a 30-minute drive.
