Campground Overview
About Seacliff State Beach Campground
Seacliff State Beach Campground offers oceanfront RV camping with unobstructed views of Monterey Bay, the iconic SS Palo Alto concrete ship, and prime access to nearly two miles of sandy shoreline.
This popular beachfront destination caters exclusively to self-contained RVs, with 26 full-hookup sites directly overlooking the Pacific and 36 additional non-hookup spots in a paved lot setup. The campground's unique feature is the SS Palo Alto, a historic concrete ship that was intentionally sunk and now serves as a fishing pier and breakwater. While tent camping isn't available, RV campers enjoy easy beach access, picturesque sunsets, and the soothing sounds of crashing waves.
Located in Aptos, just 7 miles south of Santa Cruz, Seacliff State Beach Campground provides a convenient base for exploring the Central California coast. The area is known for its mild climate, making it ideal for year-round visits. Nearby attractions include the lively Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, the charming village of Capitola, and excellent opportunities for surfing, kayaking, and wildlife viewing along the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary.
