Where four serene lakes meet pristine woodland, Shakey Lakes Park Campground offers a tranquil retreat with exceptional access to water activities, rich natural ecosystems, and modern camping comforts. This 240-acre park near Stephenson, Michigan, is distinctive for its proximity to Resort Lake, Bass Lake, Baker Lake, and East Lake, making it a haven for fishing, kayaking, swimming, and boating enthusiasts.

The campground features 121 electric sites, including 20/30/50 AMP hookups, and 17 primitive sites, ensuring options for all types of campers. On-site amenities include heated shower facilities, flush toilets, water fill-up stations, and a sanitary dump. A sandy beach with a nearby pavilion and concessions further enhances the recreational experience. Over two miles of hiking trails wind through the forest and lakefront, inviting exploration and wildlife viewing in this ecologically rich area.

Located just 10 miles west of Stephenson in the heart of the Escanaba River State Forest, visitors are surrounded by Michigan’s largest expanse of pine and oak barrens.
