Southshore on Detroit Lake

The Southshore Campground on Detroit Lake offers a serene retreat with a mix of wooded and open campsites, situated slightly away from the lake's busier areas, providing tranquility and scenic beauty. Located just 6 miles from Idanha, Oregon, and nestled within the Willamette National Forest, the campground offers direct access to Detroit Lake’s 3,500-acre expanse, perfect for boating, fishing, kayaking, and swimming. A boat ramp and courtesy docks are on-site for water enthusiasts. Adventurous visitors can explore nearby hiking trails to rewards like Dome Rock or Stahlman Point for panoramic views.
