Campground Overview
About Spring Campground
What sets Spring Campground apart is its sparkling lakeside setting under a canopy of widely spaced conifers, where breathtaking views of Crescent Lake meet an ideal mix of recreation and tranquility. Set within Oregon's Deschutes National Forest, this campground is celebrated for its generous site spacing, natural beauty, and access to year-round outdoor activities.
The campground offers 69 single sites and five tent-only lakeside options, designed for privacy and comfort. Campers will find vault toilets, potable water, picnic tables, and fire rings available, as well as a boat launch on-site for easy water access. Crescent Lake’s clear, blue-green waters invite swimming, fishing, and kayaking in the summer, while the winter months draw snowshoers and skiers to nearby trails and the Crescent Lake Snowpark. For larger groups, a separate area with 12 reservable sites accommodates up to 75 people.
Located just 24 miles from the town of Crescent, Spring Campground is a gateway to central Oregon’s natural wonders. Within a 30-minute drive, visitors can explore volcanic landscapes at Newberry National Volcanic Monument, take in panoramic mountain views along Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway, or access miles of trails in Deschutes National Forest. The campground’s serene yet adventure-friendly environment makes it suitable for everything from a quiet weekend escape to an extended outdoor vacation.
