About Spring Gap Campground

Spring Gap Campground offers a rustic riverside retreat along the historic C&O Canal, where the gentle flow of the Potomac River creates a soothing backdrop for outdoor enthusiasts.

Situated in a picturesque stretch of Western Maryland, this campground provides basic amenities in a scenic setting. The 12 standard sites and 2 group sites accommodate tents and small RVs, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. While the sites lack privacy, the shaded grounds and proximity to the water create an inviting atmosphere for camping.

The campground's boat ramp allows easy access to the Potomac River for paddling and fishing, while the adjacent C&O Canal towpath offers miles of scenic hiking and biking.
