Campground Overview
About Stillwater Cove Regional Park
Cool ocean breezes, towering redwoods, and a secluded rocky beach define the unique charm of Stillwater Cove Regional Park Campground, located just off Highway 1, 16 miles north of Jenner along the northern Sonoma Coast. This serene getaway combines forested seclusion with coastal ambiance, making it ideal for relaxation and outdoor exploration.
The campground features 23 well-maintained sites tucked among redwoods, equipped with picnic tables, fire pits, and access to clean restrooms, coin-operated showers, and a dump station. While there are no full hookups, select sites offer electrical connections for smaller RVs and trailers. A short stroll leads campers to the park's picturesque beach, perfect for tide pooling and fishing, though strong currents limit swimming. Extensive hiking trails, such as the 1.6-mile Canyon Trail loop, take visitors through lush fern-filled redwood canyons and to landmarks like the historic Fort Ross Schoolhouse. The Stillwater Bluff Trail offers dramatic Pacific coastline views for those willing to venture further.
Located in the heart of Sonoma County’s rugged coastline, Stillwater Cove provides easy access to nearby attractions like Fort Ross State Historic Park and Salt Point State Park, both within a 30-minute drive. Whether for a weekend retreat or a longer escape, this park offers a harmonious blend of natural beauty and outdoor adventure.
