This campground features 54 sites, including 10 walk-in areas, scattered along the lakeshore amidst dense coniferous trees that provide ample shade and privacy. Amenities are rustic yet functional, including vault toilets, picnic tables, and campfire rings, though visitors must bring their own drinking water. Non-motorized boating, fishing for rainbow trout, and the easy Takhlakh Loop Trail, a 1.1-mile path circling the lake, are just a few of the activities that let you immerse yourself in nature. Adventure seekers can explore the Takh Takh Meadows Trail leading to a unique lava flow or access nearby trailheads into the Mt. Adams Wilderness.
