Perched high in the Medicine Bow Mountains, this intimate 17-site campground provides a true backcountry experience. The narrow, winding access road limits RV size, ensuring a quiet atmosphere dominated by tent campers and small trailers. Located 14 miles southeast of Walden, The Crags serves as an ideal basecamp for exploring State Forest State Park's vast wilderness. Hiking opportunities abound, with trailheads for the popular Crags Trail and Devil's Playground Trail located just a short walk from the campground.
