The area is a haven for outdoor activities, with direct access to the famed Ice Age National Scenic Trail, as well as opportunities for kayaking, swimming, wildlife viewing, and angling species such as musky, pike, and bass in the 411-acre Mondeaux Flowage.

Located approximately 25 minutes north of Medford and just a short distance from the Mondeaux Dam Recreation Area, this site is perfect for a quiet weekend getaway with easy access to hiking, boating, and lakeside relaxation. The nearby Mondeaux Dam Lodge provides additional conveniences, including boat rentals, firewood, and food.
