While the sites are modest in size, they can accommodate smaller RVs, and amenities include vault toilets, picnic tables, fire grates, and potable water, ensuring a comfortable camping experience. Unique to this campground, equestrian campers will find five designated horse sites with adjacent corrals just across Forest Road 561, creating a hub for horseback riders exploring nearby trails.

The campground offers immediate access to several popular trailheads like the Big Al Interpretive Trail, Rim Trail, and the West Mancos Trail, perfect for hiking, mountain biking, and ATV riding.
