About Veteran's Memorial Park
What sets Langlade County’s Veteran's Memorial Park Campground apart is its stunning location on the shores of Jack Lake, a spring-fed, crystal-clear body of water surrounded by mature forests of maple, oak, birch, and pine. This serene setting provides campers with a peaceful retreat and a wide array of outdoor activities that cater to nature enthusiasts, families, and adventurers alike.
The campground features 48 well-maintained sites with 20/30-amp electric hookups, several group sites, rustic hike-in/boat-in sites, and fully equipped cabins. Recreational amenities include a sandy beach for swimming, an 18-hole disc golf course, and access to hiking and biking trails such as the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. Jack Lake is ideal for paddle sports and fishing, with its non-motorized water policy preserving the quiet atmosphere. Winter visitors can enjoy groomed cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing, and fat-tire biking. Additional conveniences like picnic areas, a volleyball court, and a nature arboretum enhance the experience.
Located just 15 miles north of Antigo, Wisconsin, the park combines natural beauty with accessibility. The surrounding area offers opportunities to explore Langlade County’s forests and wildlife, making this campground a perfect destination for both weekend getaways and extended stays.
