Wanapum State Park Campground

Wanapum State Park Campground offers an intriguing blend of desert landscapes and riverside relaxation along the Columbia River's expansive shoreline. This unique setting provides campers with panoramic views of the rugged basalt cliffs and sage-dotted hills characteristic of central Washington's high desert, while also granting access to refreshing water activities.

The campground features two loops with a total of 50 full-hookup sites, each equipped with water, sewer, and electrical connections. Sites are generously sized, accommodating large RVs up to 60 feet in length. The open layout affords sweeping vistas of the surrounding terrain, though shade is limited due to the arid climate. A sandy beach area and boat launch ramp provide easy water access for swimming, fishing, and boating enthusiasts.
