Campground Overview
About Warner Lake Campground
Perched at an elevation of 9,400 feet in the striking La Sal Mountains, Warner Lake Campground combines serene alpine beauty, refreshing cool air, and unparalleled access to outdoor adventure. With its dense aspen groves, clear mountain lake, and nearby towering Haystack Mountain, this campground offers a tranquil escape perfect for nature lovers, anglers, and hikers alike.
The campground features 19 well-maintained sites equipped with vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings. While lacking modern conveniences like electric hookups, it compensates with its pristine environment and direct access to several exceptional hiking trails, including paths leading to Haystack Mountain and nearby basins. Warner Lake itself is ideal for fishing, especially for Rainbow Trout, and the area is home to abundant wildlife.
Located approximately an hour's drive from Moab, Utah, Warner Lake Campground is both remote and accessible. The nearby Manti-La Sal National Forest offers countless exploration opportunities, while Moab's vibrant shops, dining, and proximity to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks make it an excellent option for day trips. The rugged gravel road leading to the campground ensures a peaceful, secluded atmosphere but may require a high-clearance or all-wheel-drive vehicle to navigate.
