Windwhistle Campground

Windwhistle Campground, situated at the foot of Roan Bailey Mesa in the Canyon Rims Recreation Area of southeastern Utah, offers a serene and remote escape in a stunning high-desert environment. The campground’s 6,000-foot elevation provides slightly cooler summer temperatures compared to nearby areas, making it a comfortable retreat for tent campers and small to mid-sized RVs. On-site, a one-mile nature trail allows for easy exploration of the immediate terrain, while the nearby Needles Overlook offers unforgettable views just a short drive away.

Located approximately 38 miles southwest of Moab, Windwhistle Campground is within a 30-minute drive of iconic attractions like the Needles District of Canyonlands National Park and the Indian Creek climbing area.
