About Beckler River Campground
How about unwinding where the rhythmic flow of the Beckler River meets the dense grandeur of Washington's old-growth forest? Beckler River Campground, tucked within the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest near Skykomish, defies expectations with its blend of serenity, natural splendor, and accessibility for both tent and RV campers.
The campground features 27 well-spaced sites nestled among towering Douglas firs, cedars, and western hemlocks, offering plenty of privacy enhanced by vine maples and shrubs. Many sites are within earshot of the river, creating a tranquil soundtrack for your stay. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, and trash service—but be sure to bring water, as none is available on-site. The lack of running water is a minor inconvenience compared to the serene experience and stunning scenery this location provides.
Situated just 10 minutes north of Skykomish along Beckler River Road, it serves as an excellent base for outdoor recreation. Whether you’re hiking the nearby Pacific Crest Trail, fishing in the Skykomish River, or exploring the North Fork Skykomish and West Fork Foss River areas, adventure is always close by. With its peaceful atmosphere and proximity to breathtaking Cascade Range landscapes, Beckler River Campground is ideal for weekend escapes or extended nature immersions.
