For a more rustic experience, four primitive hike-in or paddle-in sites are available. Outdoor recreation opportunities abound, with canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and birdwatching among the highlights. Canoe and kayak rentals are offered seasonally, and the park's trails provide excellent water views and wildlife observation points.
