Campground Overview
About Bunker Hill Campground
Towering pines frame the tranquil shores of Lemolo Lake at Bunker Hill Campground, a serene getaway within Oregon's Umpqua National Forest. This intimate campground features just five sites, catering to those seeking solitude, scenic beauty, and immersive outdoor recreation. Distinctive for its prime location, the campground offers spectacular opportunities for fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing amidst a pristine forest environment.
Each campsite is equipped with essentials, including picnic tables and fire rings, while amenities remain intentionally rustic, with only vault toilets and no potable water available—campers must bring their own. The nearby Lemolo Falls Trail provides a challenging trek with rewarding views of the 150-foot waterfall cascading into North Umpqua Canyon. Visitors can also enjoy activities like canoeing, kayaking, and fishing for trout and kokanee salmon on the lake.
Situated approximately 30 minutes from the North Umpqua Highway, the campground is easily accessible yet feels worlds away. It’s an idyllic destination for weekend escapes, day trips, or longer stays for those seeking to connect deeply with nature in an unspoiled setting.
