About Camano Island State Park
Where else can you stroll through lush coastal woodlands, relax on driftwood-dotted beaches, and enjoy panoramic views of Puget Sound, the Olympic Mountains, and Mount Rainier without leaving the same park? Camano Island State Park merges natural beauty with diverse recreation options, making it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts and families alike.
The campground offers 88 sites accommodating tents, RVs, and trailers, along with hiker/biker-specific sites and five rustic cabins. Secluded among the trees, the sites provide a peaceful retreat, though some offer peekaboo water views. Amenities include clean restrooms, hot showers, a boat launch, and picnic facilities. With a network of tranquil forest trails and a one-mile connector to nearby Cama Beach State Park, campers enjoy easy access to both parks' combined recreational offerings. Activities such as kayaking, crabbing, and beachcombing are complemented by opportunities for wildlife viewing and stargazing.
Located just 14 miles southwest of Stanwood, this serene coastal park is easily accessible yet feels like a true escape. The proximity to charming Camano Island attractions and the picturesque Saratoga Passage makes it an excellent destination for weekend getaways or extended vacations.
