About Cedar Bluff State Park - Page Creek Area
How does Cedar Bluff State Park’s Page Creek Area redefine the camping experience? Situated along the pristine south shore of Cedar Bluff Reservoir, this 900-acre expanse offers a haven for solitude seekers, boasting sandy shorelines, shaded camping spots, and direct access to water-based recreation. Popular among boaters, this area allows for convenient mooring right below campsites while remaining a quieter, less developed counterpart to its northern Bluffton Area.
Camping enthusiasts have their pick of 36 utility sites with water and electric hookups or over 200 primitive sites scattered beneath large shade trees. The site features modern conveniences, including two shower houses, picnic shelters, dump stations, and three boat ramps. Families will appreciate the playground and accessible swimming areas, while anglers can enjoy the rich fishing opportunities along the reservoir. Nearby, the historic Threshing Machine Canyon offers a unique glimpse into the past with carvings dating back to the mid-1800s, located within a short drive.
Located approximately 20 miles south of Ellis, Kansas, and easily accessible via Highway 147, Page Creek Area blends serene landscapes with ample recreation, making it a perfect choice for weekend getaways, extended stays, or a relaxing stopover for road-trippers.
