Deer Haven Campground

Deer Haven Campground, located 19 miles east of Cedar City in the Dixie National Forest, defies common camping expectations by offering a serene alpine retreat at 8,900 feet elevation with stunning aspen and pine forests, summer wildflowers, and expansive views. Notable activities include hiking and mountain biking on the 34-mile Virgin River Rim Trail and exploring nearby Cedar Breaks National Monument, just 11 miles away. Additionally, Navajo Lake and Duck Lake, offering fishing and boating, lie within a 30-minute drive, while the Duck Creek/Markagunt ATV trail system begins nearby.
