About Te-Ah Campground
Set on the edge of a high mountain meadow at 9,200 feet, Te-Ah Campground in the Navajo Lake Basin of Dixie National Forest offers a serene blend of aspen groves, distant lake views, and crisp alpine air. This quiet retreat is perfect for campers seeking a rustic experience that embraces nature, with flush and vault toilets, potable water, and well-maintained campsites equipped with fire rings and picnic tables. However, electricity and water hookups are absent, underscoring the campground's back-to-basics appeal.
Located just 28 miles east of Cedar City and a short drive from Duck Creek Village, the campground is an excellent base for outdoor adventures. Visitors can fish, canoe, or kayak on the nearby Navajo Lake, explore the scenic Virgin River Rim Trail on foot, bike, or horseback, and marvel at the Cascade Falls, all accessible within minutes. Thrill-seekers and explorers can also reach the unique Ice and Mammoth Caves or the breathtaking Cedar Breaks National Monument in less than half an hour. Te-Ah’s proximity to these attractions, combined with its tranquil setting, makes it ideal for weekend getaways, family trips, and extended stays alike.
