This peaceful retreat offers 33 campsites equipped with fire rings, picnic tables, and pedestal barbecues, making it ideal for tent campers and smaller RVs or trailers up to 25 feet long. Without hookups or drinking water, the campground caters to those seeking a rustic camping experience enhanced by conveniences like vault toilets and nearby trash disposal.
Located about a 30-minute drive from Santa Ynez, the campground is an excellent base for outdoor enthusiasts. Nearby, the Davy Brown/Fir Canyon Trail and other trailheads provide access to the majestic San Rafael Wilderness, inviting hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders to explore the diverse terrain. During the spring, the mountain transforms into a vibrant canvas of wildflowers, while year-round activities like stargazing, birdwatching, and photography make it a haven for nature lovers.
