About Isaac Creek Campground
Isolated between Isaac Creek and Claiborne Lake in Alabama’s southwest Hill Country, Isaac Creek Campground offers a serene retreat defined by its lush hardwood and pine forest, scenic waterfront campsites, and abundant recreation opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts.
This year-round campground features 60 spacious sites equipped with electric and water hookups to accommodate both tents and RVs. Many sites boast stunning waterfront views, perfect for anglers, boaters, and birdwatchers. Facilities enhance convenience with clean restrooms, showers, a dump station, laundry amenities, and family-friendly options like a playground and picnic shelters. A boat ramp, courtesy docks, and fish cleaning stations make the campground an excellent choice for fishing and boating on Claiborne Lake, where largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill, and catfish are plentiful. The surrounding acreage also permits bow and shotgun hunting for game such as deer and wild turkey.
Located just 8 miles north of Monroeville, Isaac Creek Campground provides easy access to the water systems of Alabama River Lakes, blending tranquility with outdoor adventure. It’s an ideal base for weekend getaways, nature immersions, or extended vacations focusing on fishing, water sports, and wildlife observation.
