Set amidst the serene southeastern shore of Timothy Lake and framed by the towering majesty of Oregon's Mt. Hood, Oak Fork Campground offers an exceptional lakeside retreat for nature enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. This campground stands out for its diverse camping options, direct lake access, and proximity to renowned hiking trails.

The campground features 36 single-family campsites, 8 hike-in sites, and 6 rustic cabins, offering a variety of settings to suit different campers. The sites are equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, and access to vault toilets and potable water, ensuring convenience without compromising the natural ambiance. The lakeside location is ideal for fishing, kayaking, canoeing, or simply enjoying the tranquil waters. For hikers and bikers, the scenic 12-mile Timothy Lake Trail circling the lake connects to the iconic Pacific Crest Trail, providing breathtaking views and opportunities for exploration.

Located about 23 miles from Government Camp and 27 miles from the base of Mt. Hood, the campground is well-positioned for day trips to the historic Timberline Lodge or other nearby attractions.
