This lakeside retreat offers an ideal blend of natural beauty and recreational amenities. Well-maintained campsites provide easy lake access for fishing, boating and water skiing enthusiasts. The campground's location in the Pintler Ranger District puts campers in the heart of stunning mountain landscapes, with the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness as a dramatic backdrop.

Situated 13 miles south of Philipsburg off Montana Highway 1, Piney Campground serves as an excellent base for exploring the region's outdoor attractions. Georgetown Lake's 3,000 acres of crystal-clear water teem with kokanee salmon and trout, delighting anglers year-round. In winter, nearby Discovery Ski Area offers downhill thrills, while summer brings opportunities for lift-accessed mountain biking.

The campground caters to both RV and tent campers with 48 sites featuring picnic tables, fire rings, and access to drinking water and vault toilets. A boat ramp provides convenient lake entry, allowing visitors to easily enjoy Georgetown Lake's calm waters for swimming, canoeing, and water skiing against a backdrop of forested peaks.
