Ramshorn Campground

Shaded by towering cedar, fir, and oak trees, Ramshorn Campground offers a tranquil retreat on the rugged slopes of the North Yuba River valley, just off Highway 49. This small, rustic campground features 16 campsites, ideal for tent camping as well as smaller trailers and RVs up to 20 feet, delivering a secluded experience with basic facilities like picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. The campground is a perfect launch point for outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and wildlife viewing in the stunning Tahoe National Forest.

Located about five miles from Downieville, Ramshorn sits amidst a region rich in natural beauty and history.
