Red Creek Campground

However, it lacks electricity, showers, or potable water, so visitors must bring or treat their water. Its direct access to trails leading into the Dolly Sods Wilderness allows campers to explore diverse plant communities, enjoy huckleberry picking in July, and spot wildlife, including birds during seasonal banding.

Located about 20 miles northwest of Petersburg, West Virginia, Red Creek Campground is also within a half-hour drive of attractions like Seneca Rocks, offering additional opportunities for climbing and sightseeing.
