About Roaring River Vineyards
Perched along the flowing waters of the Roaring River, the Roaring River Vineyards Campground in Traphill, North Carolina, seamlessly blends the serenity of a forested retreat with the sophistication of a French-inspired vineyard. This intimate campground offers just 10 RV sites nestled near the vineyard’s picturesque pond and surrounded by walking trails, providing both privacy and stunning views of the rolling hills and surrounding nature.
The campground features essential amenities such as gravel pads with large turnaround areas, electrical hookups (110/30/50 Amp), a communal dump station, potable water, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Although it lacks shower facilities, its proximity to the winery’s amenities, including the Chez Josephine restaurant and wine/beer tasting room, adds a touch of luxury. Campers can enjoy on-site vineyard tours (subject to availability) and partake in exceptional local wines while relaxing beside the river.
Located just minutes from Stone Mountain State Park, the area provides easy access to hiking, rock climbing, and wildlife viewing. This site is also in the heart of the Yadkin Valley Wine Appellation, offering a wealth of nearby vineyards to explore, making it ideal for weekend getaways or romantic retreats.
