Located 18 miles southeast of Cottage Grove, Oregon, this campground caters to both tent and small RV campers, with basic amenities including picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, and potable water from a hand pump. The sites, arranged in a semi-circle beneath the shade of Douglas fir and hemlock trees, are spaced for privacy and provide a tranquil atmosphere. Though the campground borders Sharps Creek Road, occasional road noise is offset by the peaceful, intimate setting.

Within a 30-minute radius, visitors can explore Dorena Lake and the Row River National Recreation Trail, a scenic bikeway passing through historic covered bridges. This campground is ideal for summer day trips or weekend getaways focused on swimming, hiking, and reconnecting with nature.
