The campground features 34 individual campsites, including single, double, and triple-family options, each equipped with picnic tables and fire rings. Vault toilets and potable water are available, while the paved roads and spurs ensure easy access. A short walk from many sites leads to the scenic river, ideal for trout fishing and spotting mountain wildlife like deer and moose. Hiking and off-road vehicle trails in nearby Soapstone Basin provide adventure seekers plenty to explore.

Located just 16 miles east of Kamas, Utah, Soapstone Campground is easily accessible yet feels far removed from urban life.
