Rising high at 7,600 feet within the Wasatch Mountains, Theater-in-the-Pines Campground offers a serene group camping experience surrounded by striking peaks, abundant wildlife, and vibrant seasonal wildflowers. Perfectly positioned along the scenic Alpine Loop Byway, this peaceful retreat offers a grassy field ideal for group gatherings, a historic stone amphitheater, and access to iconic trails such as the Aspen Grove Trail leading to Mount Timpanogos Summit and the Stewart Falls Trail.

The campground is equipped with essentials like vault toilets, drinking water, and a gravel parking area, accommodating up to 150 visitors in its spacious layout. While no individual tent sites are designated, shaded spots among pines and aspens provide options for pitching tents. The site’s unique features, such as the amphitheater and proximity to natural landmarks, make it a popular location for outdoor events and adventurers alike.

Located approximately 14 miles northeast of Provo, this campground offers quick access to nearby attractions, including Cascade Springs, Deer Creek Reservoir, Tibble Fork Reservoir, and Timpanogos Cave National Monument.
