Twelve Mile Flat Campground

Twelve Mile Flat Campground offers a serene retreat in a high-altitude meadow blanketed with wildflowers, encircled by mature spruce and pines, and framed by the rugged beauty of the Wasatch Plateau. Situated at an elevation of 10,120 feet below Mt. Baldy and adjacent to the iconic Skyline Drive, this peaceful locale is ideal for campers seeking breathtaking mountain vistas, abundant recreation opportunities, and a connection to nature.

The campground features 17 basic campsites, including two large group sites, each capable of accommodating up to 50 people and eight vehicles. While the amenities are straightforward—vault toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings—campers should be prepared to pack out their trash as there is no garbage service. What sets this campground apart is its proximity to popular ATV trails and Skyline Drive, providing both seasoned riders and casual explorers with thrilling adventures. Additionally, a brief but steep drive leads to Ferron Reservoir, where visitors can fish for rainbow and cutthroat trout or enjoy canoeing in a tranquil alpine setting.

Located approximately 20 miles east of Mayfield, Utah, Twelve Mile Flat Campground is surrounded by the scenic grandeur of the Manti-La Sal National Forest.
