This equestrian-only campground features 11 campsites equipped with horse corrals, providing a seamless connection for riders looking to embark on scenic backcountry adventures, surrounded by towering pines and rocky mountain terrain.

Campers will appreciate the well-maintained amenities, including flush toilets, showers, picnic tables, fire rings, and potable water, which cater to comfortable stays for both humans and their equine companions. The campground also boasts over 30 single-horse corrals, a horse-watering station, hitching racks, and a mounting area for added convenience. Nearby attractions such as Jenks Lake, a 20-minute drive away, offer opportunities for fishing, non-motorized boating, and tranquil lakeside relaxation.

Located near Angelus Oaks and Big Bear City, this campground serves as a base to explore vibrant mountain communities and enjoy outdoor activities within a 30-minute drive. With limited parking and clear regulations, Wild Horse Equestrian Campground provides a serene, well-equipped setting for horseback riders seeking an immersive mountain experience.
