This year-round campground boasts 15 single campsites, a double campsite, and a group campsite, 10 of which are equipped with horse corrals. Other equestrian-friendly features include areas for highlining or portable corrals, clearly marked by white-banded trees. Campers will find picnic tables, rock fire rings, and lantern posts at most sites. Vault toilets are available, and water spigots are conveniently placed throughout, though there are no electrical hook-ups. Nature enthusiasts can explore the 26-mile Woods Ferry Horse Trail that meanders through scenic woodland and along the Broad River's banks.
Located about 15 miles from Union and within 30 minutes of outdoor attractions like the Broad River and its fishing platforms, Woods Ferry is ideal for a quiet weekend getaway or an extended camping trip immersed in nature.
