The nearby Hunter Canyon Trail is a two-mile out-and-back trek that follows a spring-fed creek through lush vegetation and towering sandstone walls, providing a refreshing escape. While easily reachable via Kane Creek Road, the descent into the campground includes steep, narrow switchbacks, limiting access for vehicles over 22 feet.
