Positioned along the rushing whitewaters of Lake Creek, Parry Peak Campground in Colorado offers a tranquil retreat with spectacular views of its namesake peak and surrounding alpine wilderness. This first-come, first-served campground features 25 well-spaced sites in a shaded forest of aspen and lodgepole pine, creating a serene and picturesque environment for both tent and smaller RV campers.

Parry Peak Campground serves as an excellent base for outdoor enthusiasts, with direct access to the Continental Divide Trail just down the road and abundant opportunities for fishing along Lake Creek. Amenities include picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, and potable water, ensuring comfort while retaining a rustic charm. Nearby attractions, such as the Twin Lakes Reservoir and the Lost Man Trailhead, are within a short drive and offer additional hiking, kayaking, and trout fishing opportunities.

Located just off Highway 82, approximately 15 miles from Leadville and a short drive from Twin Lakes, the campground's high-altitude setting (over 9,000 feet) provides not only stunning views but also refreshing cool air during summer months.
