Willow Creek Horse Camp

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Black Hills National Forest, Willow Creek Horse Camp in Hill City, South Dakota, stands apart with its specialized equestrian facilities, tranquil forested setting, and direct access to pristine wilderness trails. The campground features 10 well-maintained sites, each equipped with picnic tables, fire rings, and access to vault toilets. While drinking water may not always be available, two horse troughs are provided via a gravity-fed water line. Its location within the Norbeck Wildlife Preserve and proximity to the Black Elk Wilderness ensures an immersive experience, with trailheads like the Willow Creek Loop and Lost Cabin Trail offering scenic routes through pine forests and views of Black Elk Peak.
