With just 17 campsites, this high-altitude retreat ensures a quieter, more intimate camping experience, whether you're drawn to its pristine mountain air, the glistening waters of Silver Lake, or nearby trails leading through glacial landscapes.
The campground features essential amenities, including picnic tables, fire rings, potable water, and vault toilets. Its location is an outdoor enthusiast's dream, with two trailheads leading to hiking gems such as Medicine Bow Peak Trail and French Creek Canyon Trail close by. Silver Lake itself, a 17-acre alpine jewel, is ideal for fishing or a leisurely stroll along its encompassing trail.
